We cannot accomplish the grand vision of equipping tens of thousands of effective, ethical leaders alone. We are actively seeking leaders and organizations who can join us in this quest. Here are four categories of ways in which you can leave a leader legacy.
Network/Expertise:
* Tell others about KidLead's vision, training, newsletter and website. Pass the word to those you know.
* Put a link to our website on your website and/or e-mail.
* Send us contact info of people who can promote KidLead and/or who we shold know first hand.
* Share talent/skill expertise that can assist KidLead in it's global vision, whether it is public relations, e-marketing, web-designed, training design, or non-profit management.
* Invite Dr. Nelson to speak at your conference or training event or consult with your group regarding young leader development.
Organizational Partner:
* Consider getting KidLead training programs going in your company or local organization, by meeting with the leaders and helping them know about what we do and cast the vision for providing world-class leadership training for your local preteens and teens.
* Consider providing this as a value-added benefit for your employees, whose kids can benefit from executive level training that has been appropriately age-sized.
Financial Sponsorship:
* We are looking for appropriate grants from foundations that provide funding for leadership, youth, preteens, and at risk groups. We are also interested in partnering with non-profits that can use KidLead training for their constituents and obtain further funding for themselves.
* We would love to partner with individuals interested in investing in young leaders, either by providing scholarships for young leaders needing funding, or providing support for our normal operations and research projects. This can be a small or large one time gift, as well as ongoing contributions. All gifts are tax-deductible. These can even be done online with a credit card. * As a non-profit, educational organization, KidLead can also be included in wills, living trusts, and estates.
Trainer/Koach/Mentor:
* Apply to become a certified trainer who can run a training program in your organization and/or community."
* Get involved as a Koach. You'll need to find a certified trainer to work with, but we'll try to help you make the connection as we grow.
* Volunteer as a mentor who can come alongside a certified trainer and parents of participants.
